Meet the Team

Varsity Teams

At Quest, we believe that recreation and competitive sports encourage not only the mastery of skills but also participation, teamwork, achievement, commitment and determination, leadership and self-development. These are all attributes that potential graduate schools and employers seek in prospective candidates.

Quest University Canada's Varsity Athletics program provides students with an opportunity to pursue a favorite sport while learning in a challenging academic curriculum. Quest recognizes the need to provide competitive opportunities for student athletes as a vital part of their educational experience, in addition to helping students in learning to balance studies and their extracurricular activities.

After playing a year of recreation, Quest now has both men's and women's basketball teams competing in the British Columbia Colleges Athletic Association (BCCAA) league. Starting in September of 2008, we will be developing our varsity soccer program for both and women. Golf and badminton teams are under consideration for future years as are a university ski, mountain bike and adventure racing team!

Both teams are looking forward to playing the upcoming season in the BCCAA league.

Men's & Women's Soccer

For the 2008/2009 season, both men's and women's soccer teams will be competing in the BCCAA league with a demonstration year. The intention of both teams are to gain full league status the following year. Coaches Martina Franko and Adam Day are excited to spend the year building the foundation for a successful soccer program at Quest in the months ahead.
