  • Board member of the Squamish Public Library whose mission is to encourage a life long enjoyment of reading and learning by providing equal access for all to local and global resources in a welcoming environment

Toran Savjord, Recreation Director

  • Chair of the board for the Destination Marketing Organization
  • Member of the Squamish as a World-Renowned Learning Destination development committee
  • A consultant for the BC Centre for Tourism Leadership and Innovation
  • Board member for the Squamish Sustainability Corporation

Christopher Studnicki-Gizbert, Faculty Founding Member

  • Member of the Squamish Access Society
  • Member of the Squamish Ecological Conservation Society
  • Involved with the Squamish Mapping Group creating resources for community mapping initiatives, including trails, community resources and ecological mapping
